Shi “Ming” Qiu

Shi “Ming” Qiu (Ming) is a Digital Production Manager/VFX Editor at Tau Films, where she also contributes as a pipeline developer and VFX editor when needed. In addition to her work in visual effects and animation, Ming produces independent films and teaches Production Management at the John Hopkins Institute.

She holds an M.F.A. in Producing from the American Film Institute (AFI) in Los Angeles, and a B.S. in Machine Intelligence from Peking University in Beijing—an uncommon blend of creative leadership and technical fluency that informs her approach to production pipelines.
