Refund Policy

Overview

YU Screen Skills is committed to providing high-quality micro-credential and professional development courses. We understand that circumstances can change, and this policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for course registrations.

Full Refund

Participants are eligible to receive a full refund of course fees if a written refund request is submitted no later than seven (7) calendar days before the course start date.

To request a full refund, participants must complete and submit the YU Screen Skills Refund Request Form, available here. Refunds will be processed within 15 business days of the approved request.

Partial Refunds

No partial refunds will be issued once a course has begun. If a participant withdraws after the course start date, no refund — partial or otherwise — will be granted.

Cancellations Within the Seven-Day Window

Refund requests received less than seven (7) calendar days before the course start date will not be eligible for a refund. Participants in this situation may, at the discretion of YU Screen Skills administration, be offered a credit toward a future course offering.

Course Cancellations by YU Screen Skills

In the event that YU Screen Skills cancels a course for any reason, all registered participants will receive a full refund automatically, without the need to submit a Refund Request Form. Participants will be notified by email within 5 business days of the cancellation.

How to Submit a Refund Request

  1. Fill out this Refund Request Form.
  2. Complete all required fields, including your full name, course name, registration date, and reason for withdrawal.
  3. Submit the form electronically. You will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your request.
  4. Refund eligibility will be assessed based on the date the form is received, not the date of intent to withdraw.
